How to play

From zero to Northrend

You need three things: an account here, a Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a game client, and one line in a text file.

Get a 3.3.5a client

The realm speaks to World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, version 3.3.5a (build 12340), the same client every 3.3.5 private realm uses. If you have one from another realm, it works here too. We don’t host the game files.

Check the version on the login screen: bottom left should read 3.3.5 (12340).

Point it at Zuujis

Open Data/enUS/realmlist.wtf in your game folder (enGB, deDE… for other languages) with any text editor, replace everything in it with this line, and save:

set realmlist wow.zuujis.com

Start the game with Wow.exe, not the launcher, which can rewrite the file.

Log in

Type your account name (not your email) and password, pick the Zuujis realm, and make a character. Invite a bot with /invite on any nearby player and it joins your party.

Trouble connecting?

“Unable to connect”: Check the realmlist line, then the status at the top of this page. If the realm says online and it still fails, your client may be the wrong version.
“The information you have entered is not valid”: Use your account name, not your email. Passwords are at most 16 characters.
The realm list is empty or offline: The world server may be restarting. It’s usually back within a minute or two.

Be decent to other players. No harassment, hate or spam.
No cheats, bots of your own, speed hacks or exploit abuse. Found a bug? Report it.
One person per account. Don’t share or sell accounts.
Staff decisions are final. It’s a hobby realm run for fun.
